In Bolesławiec, additional land can be purchased with a 90% discount. The discount is intended to make it easier to purchase land directly adjoining a multi-family building (a multi-family building starts with just two apartments).
This means that, when the adjoining land property is sold or granted in perpetual usufruct, apartment owners or co-owners may acquire it through a non-tender procedure, and the amount payable is set at the level of the discount granted when residential premises are sold.
The discount has been in effect in Bolesławiec since 2005. At that time, a change was made in the management of properties owned by the Municipality of Bolesławiec. It is worth recalling that until 2005, Bolesławiec residents bought apartments in multi-family buildings, most of which were sold only within the outline of the buildings. This situation caused a number of inconveniences, as properties whose boundaries follow only the outlines of buildings are difficult to manage due to the need to obtain the consent of neighboring plot owners to enter their land. This applies to renovation work, such as erecting scaffolding or carrying out repairs and modernization of technical infrastructure running near buildings, and so on.
Owning the land adjoining a building also provides greater opportunities to change the appearance of the courtyard and introduce interesting arrangements, as well as to develop the area behind the building according to residents’ tastes and needs. As a result, more than one multi-family building in Bolesławiec has already gained in appearance, and its residents can spend their free time in a peaceful place and beautiful surroundings next to their home.
