The incident occurred in the evening in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki. Someone set fire to the derelict buildings. The owner has not looked after the property for a long time; apparently, it has already been seized by a bailiff. Some of the buildings have already collapsed or are at risk of collapse. People live in one part of the complex. The district building supervision inspector believes that the residents should leave the building as soon as possible. However, they do not intend to move out.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the fire because the buildings that were set alight stand to the side of the residential building. More than ten fire service units were at the scene.
