15 July the MDK will welcome eight volunteers from four countries: Georgia, Armenia, Italy and Spain. For six weeks, they will live and work in Bolesławiec and several nearby villages. From Monday to Friday (from 10:00–12:00 and 13:00–15:00 at the designated locations: MDK, the Old Theatre, the sports field or the community centre), they will offer free workshops and activities for children aged 8 to 16. These will be artistic, sports and recreational activities dedicated to the youngest participants.
The main aim of the project is to provide people who cannot spend their holidays away from their place of residence with the opportunity to spend their free time in an interesting, active, healthy and safe way.
Registration for those interested is available at the MDK in Bolesławiec—from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 15:00.
Volunteers wanted!
The Angelus Silesius Meeting House in Wrocław is looking for local volunteers aged 16–24 from Bolesławiec and the surrounding area who, as mentors for foreign volunteers (from Italy, Spain, Armenia and Georgia), will support the implementation of the EVS project entitled “Creative Summer in Bolesławiec County”, co-financed by the Youth in Action programme.
The project will be carried out at the MDK in Bolesławiec from 15 July to 23 August. All those who express an interest in participating in the project will undergo one-day training, while the most engaged participants will have the opportunity to attend training in Sofia, Bulgaria, and take part in a youth exchange in Lorca, Spain (as part of the Vips in Action project).
