The stand of the Bolesławiec Water and Sewerage Company will be open on Saturday, June 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. During this time, visitors will be able to spend some enjoyable time with PWiK. Special chemistry activities have been prepared for children.
Visitors will be able to test the hardness of the water using litmus paper (by the titration method), test the water’s pH with specialised laboratory equipment (a pH meter), and test it themselves using indicator strips. Photocopied poems about drinking water have been prepared for young children.
Adults will be able to learn about the new services offered by PWiK, including the e-invoice service, and find out more about radio water-meter readings. There will also be a presentation of new-generation water meters adapted for radio readings. All residents will be able to taste tap water prepared in special dispensers. The water will be either pleasantly chilled or sparkling.
