The project of the Municipal School Complex No. 2 in Bolesławiec was recognized in the “Our eTwinning Project 2013” competition (in the primary school category). The awards ceremony took place in Warsaw on June 7–8. A six-member delegation from MZS No. 2 participated. – We received awards, diplomas and letters of congratulations for taking first place from the Ministry of Education, presented by Deputy Minister Joanna Berdzik, the Ministry of Administration and Digitization, and the National Contact Point for the eTwinning Programme – informs the project coordinator Teresa Prokowska. – Our delegation spent unforgettable moments in sunny Warsaw; we toured the capital and had fun at the Copernicus Science Centre.
The eTwinning Programme connects and facilitates cooperation between schools in Europe through electronic media and promotes teacher training. It is a European Union educational programme that promotes the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in European schools. Students and teachers use the Internet to collaborate across borders. They cooperate, exchange information and share learning materials.
