On the Powiat Bolesławiecki website, we can read: “At present, there is no damage caused by flooding anywhere in the county. Only a small number of incidents involving the pumping of water from basement rooms, caused by intense and prolonged rainfall and local flooding, have been recorded.”

“Today, the discharge from the dam in Pilchowice was reduced; in the evening, the water level in the Bóbr should fall,” says Grzegorz Dziadek from the County Crisis Management Center. We have established that the Nowa Wieś–Kierżno road (Nowogrodziec municipality) and the Golnice–Małe Golnice road (Bolesławiec municipality) are currently practically impassable.

The Bóbr River also overflowed its banks in Bolesławiec, near Rajska Street and the sports field located there. We present photos taken at 6:00 p.m.

The alert remains in effect until further notice. The situation is being monitored continuously.
