Saturday’s match in Wałbrzych got off to a good start for the Bolesławiec team. As early as the 2nd minute, following a combination between Nitarski and Rissmann, BKS took the lead. Robert Nitarski lobbed the goalkeeper and passed to Rissmann, who completed the move by putting the ball into the net. Górnik’s equaliser came in the first half. Following a free kick for the hosts, Robert Bubnowicz rose highest to the ball and headed it past our goalkeeper, Piotr Zając.

In the second half, the Bolesławiec team had chances to score more goals. One of the more dangerous attacks was made by Marcin Szaja. The Bolesławiec player, several metres from the hosts’ goal, took a shot, but it went just wide. In the 60th minute, Marek Kumoś produced an excellent pass. The ball reached Paweł Rissmann, who dribbled past the defenders and goalkeeper and scored BKS’s second goal. With Bolesławiec leading 2–1, the hosts set about reducing the deficit. Their efforts paid off 12 minutes before the end of the match. After an attack by the Bolesławiec team was blocked, Górnik launched a quick counterattack, which ended with Marek Wojtarowicz beating the BKS goalkeeper. The final minutes of the match resembled a siege of the Bolesławiec goal, but the score did not change. BKS Bolesławiec drew 2–2 with Górnik Wałbrzych.

Unfortunately, the match in Wałbrzych was not without an unpleasant incident. A group of Bolesławiec supporters in the stands, in addition to cheering for their team, directed offensive remarks at the player who scored both of Górnik’s goals in the match.
