Police officers from the Criminal Division of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec detained a man suspected of robbing a lotto outlet on Starzyńskiego Street in Bolesławiec. The perpetrator turned out to be a 31-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County. The robbery took place on 10 May. Officers determined that shortly after noon, the man entered the sports lottery outlet wearing a mask, terrorized an employee by striking her several times with a hard object, and then stole nearly PLN 500 in cash from the register.

The detained man had previously been convicted of other crimes against life and health, as well as against property. He will now stand trial for the act of which he is suspected. He faces a sentence of up to 12 years in prison. The District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec applied police supervision as a preventive measure against the suspect.
