For several centuries, Bolesławiec’s water has been renowned for its excellent quality. Princes and kings admired it. In 1538, the chronicle of Bolesławiec mentioned Emperor Frederick I, who scooped up water from a spring with his hand and stated that it had a refreshing effect.
– We decided to promote our water and record an advertising spot – says the president of PWiK. – Today, residents of the city and Bolesławiec Municipality do not need to buy spring water in a shop; they only need to turn on the tap. It does not even need to be boiled before drinking, because it meets all European standards, and the valuable components for the body precipitate during boiling – argues Józef Król.
The PWiK laboratory in Bolesławiec continuously tests the quality of water supplied to consumers in the urban and rural municipalities. The tests are carried out by competent staff, and the quality system is approved by the State Sanitary Inspection. The values of the microbiological and physicochemical parameters of water from the intakes serving the city and Bolesławiec Municipality can be found on the PWiK website.
The advertisement for Bolesławiec tap water was produced by Istotne Informacje and will be broadcast on the local television station Azart Sat.
