A floral festival was held in Łaziska, organized by councillor Grażyna Łucka, the village head and Village Council, the Parish Council, the Housewives’ Association, the Sports Club, the “Nasze Łaziska” Association, and the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec with its registered office in Kruszyn. The event was attended by: Bogusław Uziej, chair of the Bolesławiec Municipal Council Bogusław Uziej, Municipal Head Andrzej Dutkowski, Deputy Municipal Head Roman Jaworski, Municipal Treasurer Franciszek Popek, councillor Wojciech Weselak, Deputy County Head Stanisław Chwojnicki, Chair of the County Council Karol Stasik and Paweł Zieliński, assistant to MEP Lidii Geringer de Oedenberg.

During the event, the competition for the most beautiful bouquet was decided. The first prize went to the ladies from the Housewives’ Association in Kraśnik Dolny. The hosts from Kierżno came second. The ladies from Bożejowice took third place. The bouquets were judged by a panel consisting of: Elżbieta Osuchowska, Teresa Chwojnicka, Bogusław Uziej and Paweł Zieliński.

The following performers appeared on stage: young residents of Łaziska from the 4-H Club (Anna Szemberska, Marcelina Walęga and Justyna Scholz), the vocal studio from Kruszyn (Daria Konefał, Daria Gala, Julia Skuła and Natalia Maguder – students of Agnieszka Orawiec) and the Alladyn dance group, led by Agnieszka Michalczuk.

Folk enthusiasts also had no reason to complain. That day, the well-known Municipal Song and Dance Ensemble “Jutrzenka” performed, along with the “Żeliszów” Song Ensemble and the Bolesławiec Land Song and Dance Ensemble. The festival concluded with a concert by the popular Pireus group.
