The solemn end-of-year ceremony for the final-year classes at the Janusz Korczak Secondary School No. 2 in Bolesławiec is behind us. Among those attending the ceremony was the district governor, Cezary Przybylski.
The institution’s principal, Mirosław Sakowski, spoke: “When I think about these past three years, it seems to me that they passed in two parallel currents. The first was acquiring knowledge; the second was psychological—the period of emotional maturation and forming friendships and loves. I think that this second sphere of school life was more pleasant and left a deep impression on your hearts. I hope it will remain there forever.
During the ceremony, third-year students who achieved the best results in their studies (the Graduate of the Year was Rafał Ryżewski) and in sports were honored, as were those who were active in the student council.
The ceremony was enhanced by an artistic program prepared by students from class II d and teachers Edyta Gawlik-Lippik and Elwira Madeiska.
