Police detained a 29-year-old resident of Bolesławiec who committed at least 16 burglaries of garden allotment sheds in March and April. He stole property worth several thousand złoty, including two bicycles, power tools, a DVD player and gardening tools.
The case is developing. Officers found some of the stolen items in the 29-year-old’s apartment. Some have already been returned to their owners.
The perpetrator confessed. He explained that he committed the burglaries in series: four or five sheds in a single outing. He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
