A modern content management system (CMS) was selected as the tool for building and launching the new websites. Special facilities were introduced for people with visual impairments, including font enlargement. The website’s functionality was also expanded to include a search engine, visitor statistics and a site map. The site should display correctly in various web browsers.
The new website is another element in implementing information society technologies at DUW and building the e-Lower Silesian Voivodeship Office. Earlier, the office launched an information kiosk in the lobby, an electronic Public Information Bulletin, electronic auction services, and enabled the office’s management staff to use electronic signatures.
