Krzysztof Krzemiński resents us for never criticizing the municipal BOK-MCC. After all, when he worked in the promotion department of the County Office, he even criticized the banner advertising the Ceramics Festival, organized by BOK-MCC, that was hung on a high-rise building.
Krzemiński writes about us and BOK-MCC: “a portal that does not criticize any actions of institutions and, on top of that, performs paid work for it, including creating websites and promoting events.”
We do not criticize the activities of the Youth Cultural Centre, the activities of the Pedagogical Library, or the activities of the Old Theatre. We also do not criticize the Ceramics Museum or other institutions that operate well. Because we have no reason to criticize them.
So what does Krzemiński have against BOK-MCC?! Are we supposed to criticize the institution for employing talented instructors, including Stanisława Wojda-Pytlińska, Edyta Orlińska, Magda Konieczna and Aleksander Samostrakov, to teach children, young people and adults in attractive and popular workshops?
Or perhaps we should criticize it for promoting ambitious cinema and attendance at the Film Discussion Club, where 200 passes are sold every month?
Perhaps for the exhibitions organized in two galleries—interesting, high-quality exhibitions presenting the work of local artists and amateurs as well as internationally renowned artists?
Or should we subject the concerts at the Forum to criticism: Możdżer, Bajor, Anna Maria Jopek, Radek and many others?
Or the children’s theatre performances attended by full houses of satisfied viewers?
Bolec.Info also advertised events organized by BOK-MCC for payment. It is true that the portal did not create the cinema’s website, but probably because there is no one in the editorial office who knows how to do it. Nor is there a competent person employed by the portal who could describe and advertise a cultural event. It is therefore possible that BOK-MCC, an organizer of prestigious events, does not want to risk having amateurs describe it—amateurs who have recently been fighting to write without Polish diacritics. That is why BOK-MCC chooses Istotne.pl to cooperate with.
One question remains: why is criticism of BOK-MCC on Krzysztof Krzemiński’s own portal not enough for him? And why does its absence on our portal bother him so much? And why is he completely uninterested in the fact that the county Youth Cultural Centre is treated with kid gloves on Bolec.Info? Which does not bother us at all.
