In March, audiences of the Film Discussion Club will see four good and diverse films: “Searching for Sugar Man” (this year’s Oscar winner for documentary), a moving story about the underestimated music star Sixto Rodriguez, the independent British film “Broken” starring Tim Roth, the drama featuring Ewa Wiśniewska and Marian Dziędziel “The Fifth Season” and Anna Wieczur-Bluszcz’s directorial debut “To Be Like Kazimierz Deyna”.

Anna Wieczur-Bluszcz will be the special guest at the screening of the Film Discussion Club. The meeting with the director will take place on 25 March, after the film screening.

“To Be Like Kazimierz Deyna” won the main prize, the “Golden Amber,” at the 31st Festival of Film Debuts in Koszalin. The film’s screenwriter and director is associated with the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre; from 2003 to 2006, she led a theatre group here in Bolesławiec.
