Concerned for the safety of road users, officers from the Bolesławiec traffic police are asking people to provide information about locations and road elements that may cause a hazard.

In the coming days, officers will conduct a comprehensive inspection of the condition of roads in Bolesławiec County with regard to signage. The officers are asking for information concerning:

  • inconsistent vertical and horizontal signage
  • speed limits that are unjustified by the conditions and excessively restrictive
  • safety hazards for vulnerable road users (pedestrians and cyclists)
  • incorrect or illegible signage at railway crossings
  • incorrect or unnecessary signage
  • illegible signage
  • the lack of pavements, particularly in towns and villages through which national and voivodeship roads run
  • hazards posed by trees growing along the roadsides.
