The incident occurred on Monday (11 February) in the evening. Smoke appeared in the basement of one of the houses on Konradowska Street. Wood caught fire. Two fire service units quickly dealt with the blaze. The room was ventilated. None of the house’s residents was injured. The probable cause of the fire was the careless removal of ash from the stove. In addition, one of the house’s residents complained that she could not contact a chimney sweep to have him inspect the chimney system. The woman claims that she called several times and left a message, but no one called her back.
