Bolesławiec police officers carried out the “Van” operation. In recent years, the number of private carriers has risen sharply, as has the number of accidents involving buses and trucks. The recurring “Van” operation is intended to improve the safety of transported persons and other road users.
Officers inspected 73 vehicles. They seized 49 registration certificates (due to the poor technical condition of vans and trucks) and issued 47 fines (for technical condition, lack of equipment and lack of documents).
