According to information on Bolec.Info, whose editor-in-chief is a native of Lwówek (from Lwówek Śląski), concerts by Country Zenit, Los Grandes Rudeboys and SCA were supposed to take place in the journalist’s hometown. All of this was to happen in the sports and entertainment hall of the Sports and Recreation Centre at 1 Parkowa Street. Bolec.Info invited its readers to the event in Lwówek Śląski, simultaneously misleading them.
Unfortunately, the street, the hall and the bands’ performances all existed, but in Lwówek in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, in Nowy Tomyśl County.
Either editor Katarzyna Bodzioch, who lives in Kraków, has not visited her hometown for a long time and has already forgotten the names of its streets and facilities, or she does not check the information pasted into her own portal at all. Or, although this is hard to believe, she is indifferent to the fact that she is misleading her own readers.
The report containing the serious error had more than 3,000 views, but none of the commenters noticed the editorial mistake. Perhaps this simply means that nobody reads the information on Bolec. But if anyone does, they should at least not believe it.

After we published our report, the passage about Lwówek disappeared without a trace from Bolec’s report.
