The participants in the “Ceramiony 2012” competition were children, young people, adults and people with disabilities who develop their interests in ceramics studios. From among many remarkable works, the jury selected the best ones, presenting awards and distinctions in four categories: children, young people, adults and people with disabilities. The competition jury consisted of: Marta Karaś (art historian), Bogdan Kiliński (visual artist), Zygmunt Prończyk (visual artist) and Teresa Miłoszowska (oligophrenopedagogue).

The competition organized by the “Światowid” European Meetings Centre in Elbląg is very popular. It inspires and encourages children, young people and adults to engage in creative activities in the field of ceramics. The 13th edition received 140 works made using various ceramic techniques. These included works made from chamotte clay and red clay, as well as glazed and bisque-fired works. Twenty-nine schools, cultural centres, occupational therapy workshops and non-governmental organizations from across Poland took part in the competition. Congratulations to the winners and teachers.
