On Christmas Eve, Bolesławiec municipal police officers conducted a special patrol. Visiting places known to them where homeless people stay in winter, they offered them a hot meal. There were dumplings and hot tea.
On Christmas Eve evening, the officers handed out meals to twenty people who have no homes. In addition, each homeless person received food packages containing groats with canned meat, luncheon meat, bread, and pasta with canned meat.
The Christmas Eve meal and food donations were prepared and provided by the District Branch of the Polish Red Cross in Bolesławiec.
