Two men who broke into a local rectory in mid-November this year and stole, among other things, mobile phones, a multimedia projector and money were apprehended by officers from Nowogrodziec. The losses were estimated at nearly PLN 2,500.
The detainees are residents of the Nowogrodziec municipality, aged 31 and 35. Both had previously been convicted of similar offences. They explained to the officers that they had broken into the rectory because they needed money for alcohol.
Both suspects now face up to 10 years’ imprisonment.
