The competition, held as part of the “Bolesławiec Acts Ecologically” project, was organized for third-grade pupils from the city’s primary schools. It concluded field classes conducted by the Municipal Water and Sewerage Company in Bolesławiec (PWiK Bolesławiec) in cooperation with the Municipal Ecological Education Centre. The project was co-financed by the Wrocław Regional Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
Twenty-four competition participants represented all third-grade classes at Bolesławiec’s primary schools. The pupils had to provide correct answers in an environmental test. The competition committee selected three winners. The awards ceremony took place today, 13 November, in the Councilors’ Hall at the Town Hall.
The awards went to
- 1st place – Michał Maczyński from Municipal School Complex No. 2, Primary School No. 2
- 2nd place – Konrad Chrząstowski from Municipal School Complex No. 1, Primary School No. 5
- 3rd place – Alicja Ratajczak from Primary School No. 4
