The incident occurred on Sunday, November 11, on one of the streets in Bolesławiec. The 34-year-old resident of our county, who was driving a passenger car, failed to stop for a check. A traffic officer set off in pursuit.
The officer stopped the 34-year-old’s vehicle. As it turned out, the fleeing driver was completely drunk; a test showed more than 3‰ of alcohol in his system. What is more, the man was subject to a court-imposed ban on driving motor vehicles. He now faces up to 3 years in prison.
