The incident occurred on November 5. The 19-year-old resident of Bolesławiec defaced the facade of a newly renovated building with his graffiti. The damage was estimated at PLN 2,000. The vandal was caught red-handed by a police officer who was off duty at the time. The officer called a patrol, which took the suspect to the police station.
At the time of his detention, the 19-year-old was drunk; he had nearly 1.5 per mille of alcohol in his system. He now faces up to five years in prison.
