This year marks the 94th anniversary of the restoration of independence. On Sunday, 11 November, Bolesławiec Marian Basilica and Bolesławiec County invite residents to commemorative events. The programme includes:

  1. Holy Mass at the Bolesławiec Marian Basilica
    • 10:45 – assembly of flag-bearing delegations
    • 11:00 – address by the county governor
      Holy Mass for the homeland with the participation of the armed forces
  2. Market Square
    • 12:30 – report by the commander of the 23rd Artillery Regiment
    • 12:32 – raising of the national flag
    • 12:34 – national anthem
    • 12:38 – welcoming of guests
    • 12:40 – introduction to the ceremony
    • 12:43 – address by the county governor
    • 12:50 – presentation of decorations to soldiers of the Polish Military Contingent in Afghanistan
    • 12:55 – Roll Call of Remembrance
    • 13:00 – ceremonial salute
    • 13:05 – representative song of the Polish armed forces
    • 13:10 – end of the ceremony
  3. Old Theatre
    • 13:20 – patriotic programme performed by the “Rota” Reserve Soldiers’ Artistic Ensemble
