The first stage of the modernization of street lighting in the Kwiatowe housing estate has been completed. The modernization covered Czerwonych Maków, Sadowa and Stokrotek streets. In place of the old lighting, which generated significant energy losses, 54 streetlights with an autonomous power-reduction module were installed. The cost of the project was over PLN 224,000. The investment was carried out by a company from Lubań. “The modernization was intended to improve safety and lighting parameters, as well as reduce electricity consumption,” says Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman.
The pavement on Bankowa Street was also renovated (the damaged bituminous pavement was removed and a new one, made of granite paving blocks, was installed). The cost of the investment was over PLN 16,700. The funds came from the city budget. The renovation was carried out by a company from Bolesławiec.
An internal road was also built near Zabobrze Street. The road surface is made of concrete paving blocks. It is illuminated by three streetlights with fixtures equipped with autonomous power reducers. The value of the works was nearly PLN 60,000. The investment was financed by the Municipality of Bolesławiec.
