On Thursday, September 27, the Bolesławiec Amateur Volleyball League (BALPS) began its competition. Six amateur teams are taking part in the volleyball contest: Biuro Pomocy Prawnej, Dzida, Monopol Extrabike, Nauczyciele, Old Stars and Osiecznica. The matches are being held in the new sports hall on Jana Pawła II Street. After the first round, Biuro Pomocy Prawnej is at the top of the table. The full table is below:
It is worth noting that the leading team and the second-placed team have each played two matches, while the remaining teams have played one. The competition was conceived by Jacek Łuczkowski from Biuro Pomocy Prawnej. As he explains, he presented his idea to the city authorities. Following a conversation with the deputy mayor and with the cooperation of MOSiR, the competition was launched.
Portal and Newspaper Istotne Informacje became the media patron of the competition. Below, we present photographs of the teams taking part in BALPS 2012. We remind you that the second round of matches is already scheduled for October 4. Detailed information, team rosters, tables, match results and the competition regulations are available on the MOSiR website
