On Saturday, 15 September, a festival organized by Stowarzyszenie Trzebień, the Trzebień Rural Housewives’ Circle and the Parents’ Council, in cooperation with the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec based in Kruszyn, was held in Trzebień.
Among others, the students of Agnieszka Orawiec and the rock trio The Music Box from Stara Oleszna performed on stage. Folk enthusiasts also had no reason to complain. That day in Trzebień, the Song and Dance Ensemble „Mały Bolesławiec” and the Wesoła Gromadka group from Gromadka performed. There were also competitions. The log-sawing competition proved particularly popular with adults, and was won by a duo from Gromadka.
An auction for a trip to the European Parliament was also held through Paweł Zieliński, assistant to MEP Lidia Geringer d'Oedenberg. The auction was won by Mirosław Kuzak.
The event ended with a dance party. Residents of our county danced until dawn.
