The third edition of the competition for the most beautiful farmstead, organized by the Bolesławiec County Office and the County Council of Rural Women's Circles, has ended. The farmsteads were assessed by a committee consisting of: Olga Burdyna, chairwoman of the County Council of Rural Women's Circles, Elżbieta Fulasz from the Lower Silesian Agricultural Advisory Centre in Bolesławiec, and Renata Czerwińska, head of the Development and Promotion Department of Bolesławiec County.
– Homesteads become more beautiful every year, and the choice is increasingly difficult, says Renata Czerwińska. – To choose the most beautiful one, we try to observe the farmsteads in different months.
The main prize went to Krystyna Ilczyna from Bolesławice. Bożena and Henryk Długosz from Ocice took second place. Lidia and Joël Buecher from Kruszyn came third. Honorable mentions went to farms from Warta Bolesławiecka and Raciborowice.
The prizes were presented to the winners by County Head Cezary Przybylski and Deputy County Head Stanisław Chwojnicki.
