– The camp began on August 21 – says Damian Tomiak, head of the Youth Fire Service Team operating at the Volunteer Fire Service in Osiecznica. The young firefighters had the opportunity to visit Włoszakowice and Dominice, as well as an observation tower.
Members of the Youth Fire Service Team could not complain about boredom: they prepared meals themselves, completed a first-aid course, rode pedal boats and kayaks, and also played various games. – I am very happy that this camp took place – Damian emphasizes. – Trips of this kind have a positive influence on young people and develop their skills. They teach camaraderie, helpfulness and honesty.
Damian Tomiak and the Volunteer Fire Service president thank Osiecznica Municipality Head Waldemar Nalazek and the Świętoszów Forest District for their help in organizing the camp.
