The accident occurred on Wednesday, August 1, on national road No. 94 near Okmiany. The truck was turning left onto the A4 motorway. The Volkswagen was approaching from the opposite direction. The truck hit the passenger car. After the collision, the Passat stopped against a barrier. Two people were injured in the accident: a man and a woman from the Volkswagen. The woman managed to get out of the wrecked car on her own. The man—the car’s driver—was seriously injured. To free the injured man, firefighters had to cut through the car’s bodywork. The man, who had serious fractures, was taken to hospital. The woman was also taken to hospital. Police are determining the details of the incident.
