The film “You Are God,” which tells, among other things, the story of Magik, a rapper associated with Kaliber 44 and Paktofonika, enters Polish cinemas on September 21. However, only viewers at Bolesławiec’s Forum cinema will be able to see a concert by the Pokahontaz group that day—in addition to the film. The group features Rahim and Fokus, co-creators of the legendary PFK. Admission to the premiere and concert costs only 35 PLN.

“You Are God,” directed by Leszek Dawid, is the long-awaited film about Paktofonika. Through the extraordinary story of Piotr “Magik” Łuszcz (played by Marcin Kowalczyk), Sebastian “Rahim” Salbert (Dawid Ogrodnik) and Wojciech “Fokus” Alszer (Tomasz Schuchardt), filmgoers will have the opportunity to follow the lives of three friends who, thanks to original songs such as the famous “I Am God” and “Fleeting Moments,” became the voice of a generation of young Poles.

After the screening, Rahim and Fokus will answer viewers’ questions and then perform as the Pokahontaz group. The group was formed in 2003. It has released two albums and plans to release another in 2012.

The film “You Are God” will be screened at the Bolesławiec cinema from September 21 to October 2. Details and ticket reservations are available at kino.boleslawiec.pl
