The International Ceramics Centre will host painting, ceramics and vocal workshops, as well as various art activities for school-age children. Children from the age of four can take part in aerobics with elements of rhythmics twice a week.

BOK-MCC programme

  • Two painting workshops by Kamila Michoń: one for children aged eight and over, and another for children aged nine to sixteen. During the first classes, participants will create illustrations for Julian Tuwim’s poem “The Locomotive”. The classes will take place from 17 to 19 July, from 9:00 to 12:00. The second workshop will focus on painting ideas for what Bolesławiec might look like in 200 years. The classes will take place from 6 to 8 August, from 9:00 to 12:00.
  • Two art classes by Stanisława Wojdy-Pytlińska, “I’ll Tell You” and “In the Colours of Summer”, for children aged seven and over. The classes will take place from 23 to 26 July, from 12:00 to 15:00, and from 20 to 24 August, from 12:00 to 15:00.
  • Glass and stained-glass workshops by Magdalena Konieczna, “Glass Weather”, for children and young people aged ten and over. The classes will take place on 16–17 and 20–22 August, from 11:00 to 14:00.
  • Ceramics workshops by Edyta Orlińska, “Painted Mug”, for children aged seven and over. The classes will take place from 20 to 23 August, from 10:00 to 13:00.
  • Dance workshops by Paweł Klimek for children and young people aged eight to fifteen. The classes will take place from 16 to 20 July, from 12:00 to 14:00.
  • Hip-hop dance workshops by Katarzyna Tomczyk-Jakubowska for children aged seven and over. The classes will take place from 20 to 24 August, from 9:00 to 10:00.
  • Folk dance classes, “To a Folk Tune – Getting to Know Kraków Costumes and Dances”, led by Agnieszka Podłaszczyk, for children aged six and over. The classes will take place from 16 to 20 July, from 11:00 to 12:00.
  • Aerobics classes with elements of rhythmics led by Agnieszka Podłaszczyk for children aged four and over. The classes take place on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 to 11:00.
  • Song and dance classes, “Children’s Summer Stage”, led by Barbara Lendzian, for children aged seven to twelve. The classes will take place on 8–9, 16, 22–23 and 29–30 August, from 11:00 to 13:00.
  • Classical singing vocal workshops by Agata Pińczuk-Burdzy for children aged ten to twelve. The classes will begin on 9 August and take place every Thursday from 10:00 to 14:00.
  • Polish-German music workshops, “Images of Sound”, in vocals, guitar, bass and percussion, as well as photography and film. They will be led by Piotr Żaczek, Maciej Gładysz, Lars Friedrich, Kasia Wilk, Lena Romul, Wojciech Hoffman, Marek Bałata, Apolonia Wieland and Michał Szwed. The classes will take place from 9 to 13 July, from 10:00 to 17:00.
  • The Forum Cinema programme features the summer’s hot 3D premieres: “Ice Age 4: Continental Drift”, “Prometheus” and “Madagascar 3”.
  • In July, BOK-MCC invites everyone to the fifth edition of “Blues Night In Bolesławiec” and to a concert by Poeticon. On 14 July, the following bands will perform in the Market Square: Obstawa Prezydenta, Chłopaki z Ferajny, Mercedes Band, Trzynasta w Samo Południe and Freski. On 28 July, Poeticon will perform in the BOK-MCC conference room in a concert dedicated to the work of Jacek Musiatowicz, poet and bard.
