The incident occurred on June 20. Two days later, the police duty officer received information about the body of Grażyna O., which was found on Widok Street. Police officers detained five Bolesławiec residents: one woman and four men (aged from 19 to 68). All five are suspected of beating someone resulting in death. Three of those detained (Marek B., Patryk B. and Elżbieta Ł.) have already been remanded in custody for three months by court order, while Dariusz W. has been placed under police supervision.

The suspects face up to 10 years in prison.
