The “My Place on Earth” photography competition, organized by II Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Janusza Korczaka in Bolesławiec, has come to an end. The competition, addressed to students and employees of lower- and upper-secondary schools, was held as part of the “Photography – My Passion” project, created and coordinated by Joanna Turczyńska, a German teacher and photography enthusiast.
The opening of the post-competition exhibition, combined with the award ceremony for the winners, took place on Monday, June 18, at II LO. The winning entries were created by Angelina Żuraw. The jury (comprising Anna Bowszys, Joanna Turczyńska, Agnieszka Niedźwiecka and Iwona Florkowska) awarded second prize to Kinga Stelmach. Aldona Smolak took third place. Distinctions were awarded to Monika Wierzchowska and Radosław Musiał.
