We invite young people – and, in exceptional cases, also adults – to “workshops and meetings that are not only about theatre”. We will meet at the Old Theatre, as well as in its vicinity. Everything will take place from Monday, 18 June to Friday, 29 June, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (10 working days, 4 hours a day, Saturday and Sunday off). Will we manage to discover what was at the beginning? Come and find out.
The programme – apart from theatre classes and acting exercises – will include literature, making music, an evening screening of a silent film with live music, performed, of course, by the viewers, as well as fieldwork, ideal for spies and scouts: with a camera, video camera and voice recorder. Collecting information and ideas and creatively transforming them into a story about the beginning or about many beginnings...
Price: a million desires, 150 motivations, sweat, tears, interesting ideas even in another currency, important thoughts and small foolishnesses, good humour and a pinch of melancholy. We realise that not everyone can afford such expensive workshops, so in special cases we can offer a discount: two sandwiches with tomato and cheese...
P.S.
...yellow cheese.
The organisers of the workshops are the Stanisław Wyspiański Youth Cultural Centre and the Municipal Social Welfare Centre, as part of the “Social Revitalisation – Take Your Chance” programme.
The workshop leaders are: Karolina Rosocka and Mariusz Laudański.
