District police officers from the Police Station in Warta Bolesławiecka detained a 16-year-old suspected of stealing a petrol-powered brush cutter and a chainsaw. The detention took place on June 3. Police findings indicate that the minor resident of Warta Bolesławiecka municipality stole the equipment from a basement belonging to his stepfather. The value of the stolen items was over PLN 2,000. In addition, district police officers established that the 16-year-old had already committed minor thefts against people close to him. The minor was handed over to his guardians. A family court will decide his fate.
