The theft took place on June 1 in Bolesławiec. A 16-year-old resident of Gromadka municipality snatched a bag from a 74-year-old Bolesławiec resident. The thief was detained shortly afterwards. He was apprehended by the Deputy Commander of the Police Station in Nowogrodziec, who happened to be working in Bolesławiec that day. A passer-by informed the police officer about the theft. After speaking with the injured woman, the officer began searching for the young thief. When he saw the police officer, the 16-year-old began to run away. He was detained. The minor had items from the theft in his possession. The recovered wallet containing documents and money was returned to its owner. The minor will answer for the theft before a family court.
