We received this information from several of our readers. In Bolesławice, a pavement was being laid on the right-hand side. The work lasted two weeks. Now the pavement has been dismantled and work has begun on laying it on the opposite side. Residents do not hide their amazement and surprise. “It makes no sense. They could have thought it through. Money was needlessly spent,” angry residents say.

We asked the District Roads Authority (ZDP) for an explanation of the situation. “After the pavement was built, it turned out that access to one of the properties, where a business is operated, was almost impossible. A decision was made to move the pavement to the left-hand side. This work will not incur any additional cost,” said Roman Palczewski, head of ZDP.

The right-hand side will be appropriately modernized, creating a wider shoulder and making the road safer.

A funny situation—hopefully it will benefit the residents of Bolesławice.
