Below we present the educational offer of the Mechanical School Complex in Bolesławiec:
Technical secondary school (4-year):
- mechatronics technician – a specialist with interdisciplinary professional qualifications combining the skills of a mechanic, electronics technician and IT specialist. Graduates can find employment in plants with automated and robotised production cycles, and in companies providing design, servicing and repair services for mechatronic devices and systems, in positions such as designer, process engineer, foreman, head of a service and repair department, procurement specialist, specialist in trading consumer mechatronic equipment, CNC operator and programmer, diagnostician, and consumer mechatronic equipment service technician. Students have the opportunity to learn the profession in practice at modern plants, including VW Polkowice and VW Zwickau. The course of study also includes specialist classes at the end of the training period. The school offers three specialisations to choose from after the third year: automotive mechatronics, numerically controlled machine tools (CNC), programmable controllers
- automotive technician – during their studies, students become familiar with such areas as the construction, operation and repair of motor vehicles, vehicle electrical equipment, and road traffic regulations. Graduates of this specialisation can find employment in the automotive industry and transport. During their studies, students take a free driving course, after completing which they can take the examination at examination centres throughout the country
- underground mining technician – NEW! Mining technician is a field of study for people who see their future in one of the largest branches of industry. This field provides the essential foundations of knowledge for further development and obtaining professional qualifications and the necessary experience. An underground mining technician is a broad-profile occupation, allowing specialisation at the end of the training period
- mechanical technician – organises and supervises the production, assembly, repair and maintenance of machines and equipment. Starts up, adjusts and checks electrical installations and control and measuring equipment in machines and devices; detects and removes the causes of failures and damage; replaces worn or damaged components or assemblies in machines. Also prepares technical documentation.
Basic Vocational School (3-year):
- motor vehicle mechanic – knows the construction, operating principles, servicing and repair of motor vehicles, as well as the conditions and methods of their operation. Can participate in the production and assembly of cars. Motor vehicle mechanics are also equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in small service and repair shops. During their studies, students take a free driving course
- automotive electromechanic – has the skills to check the technical condition of assemblies and components of vehicles’ electrical and electronic systems, as well as to assemble and disassemble them; repair, maintain and secure the assemblies and components comprising a vehicle’s electrical and electronic equipment. Graduates can work at plants producing motor vehicles and spare parts; repair shops; and service and diagnostic testing stations. During their studies, students take a free driving course
- mechatronics assembler – is qualified to assemble, disassemble, repair and maintain mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components, subassemblies and devices; start up and connect mechatronic devices, as well as operate and maintain them. A mechatronics assembler can work at manufacturing and service companies, as well as other facilities involved in the operation of mechatronic devices and systems, as an operator, assembler, maintenance department employee, measurement room employee or household appliance technician
- fitter – is qualified to make and repair tools, instruments, machine parts, simple mechanisms and devices; and provide services involving the manufacture, maintenance and repair of mechanical and non-mechanical consumer equipment and decorative metalwork. Graduates can find employment in service companies repairing household equipment and artistic products, industrial plants, and companies involved in the manufacture and operation of technical products
- machining machine operator – is qualified to operate and supervise both conventional cutting machine tools and numerically controlled machine tools. This is a broad-profile occupation combining the skills of a lathe operator, milling machine operator, grinding machine operator and machining centre operator.
