The Polish Club Orienteering Championships, held in Tomaszów Mazowiecki, have come to an end. The 12-member UKS Tukan Iwiny team won five medals, including two gold and one silver.

The best performance came from Angelika Haniszewska, who was unrivalled in the junior women’s classic-distance event. The athlete won by more than three minutes ahead of Maria Polischuk, a Ukrainian competing for Śląsk Wrocław and the current European runner-up. In the sprint, Angelika finished third, as did her clubmate Bartek Szeliga.

Tukan’s silver medal was won by Ola Pulda, competing in the K-10 category. The gold medal went to the club’s coach, Dariusz Pachnik, who won the sprint in the M-40 veterans’ category.
