Representatives of the German counties came at the invitation of County Governor Krzysztof Konopka. Their visit coincided with Bolesławiec Days.
"I liked Bolesławiec enormously. It is a beautiful town, and the Town Days are a wonderful event where I saw how Poles know how to have fun," said German councillor Tim Schmidt. The councillor announced that he plans to spend his holiday in Bolesławiec.
"We hope that the visit will lead to even better relations between our counties," said the Bolesławiec County Governor. Officials from the partner counties want to cooperate in education, sport and youth exchanges.
