The final of the Jelenia Góra Zone Championship of Upper-Secondary Schools in Girls’ Volleyball was held at II Liceum Ogólnokształcące. The hosts’ team won the competition, playing in the following lineup: Dorota Burdyna, Zofia Lenkiewicz, Dominika Mienculewicz, Katarzyna Melko, Katarzyna Segiet, Ewa Serkies, Paulina Kiełb, Paulina Fuchs, Aleksandra Izowit, Justyna Wilk, Dorota Stadnik, Anna Lenkiewicz, Marika Nastał and Angelika Drozda. The team’s coach is Piotr Napiórkowski.
The runners-up were players from I LO in Bolesławiec, coached by Elżbieta Chodyra. The team from Kamienna Góra took third place. The zone champions advanced to the regional competition, which will be held on 14 March in Głogów.
Dominika Mienculewicz was named the best player of the championship final and received a ball funded by II LO director Mirosław Sakowski.
