The dance teams of the Bolesławiec Cultural Center–International Ceramics Center took part in the Lower Silesian “I Can Dance” Festival in Wrocław. The long-standing instructor and supervisor of the Canon group teams is Katarzyna Tomczyk-Jakubowska.
The girls competed against dancers from Wrocław dance schools, representing a very high level. The Canonki performed in three competitions—solo, duet and formation—and in several styles: modern dance, hip-hop, disco, contemporary dance, jazz, funky and freestyle.
In the duet category (freestyle), first place went to Daria Szuk and Dagmara Szuk. In the formation category (freestyle), second place went to the Canonki team, consisting of: Adela Paralusz, Eliana Paralusz, Aleksandra Niezgoda, Natalia Niezgoda, Daria Szuk, Dagmara Szuk, Oliwia Cieślak, Patrycja Pieczarka, Marysia Górska, Natalia Michaluk, Amelia Woch, Paulina Dobiech, Aleksandra Kłodnicka, Kaja Chimniak, Igor Szykuła.
In the formation category (freestyle), third place went to the Canon team, consisting of: Adriana Adamczyk, Klaudia Niziałek, Nicola Jacyno, Justyna Głebocka, Aksana Gugulska, Magdalena Lisiewska, Emanuela Biskubska, Kinga Serwatka, Hanna Wróblewska.
During the festival, the dancers were judged by a jury consisting of: Bohdan Piotrowski (a certified dance instructor of the Polish Dance Association, choreographer, dancer and founder of “Galaxy” Dance Studio), Kamila Smalec (1999 IDO World Champion), Michał-Wisien-Czyżewski (choreographer, dance teacher, artistic director and owner of Street Dance Academy), Marta Wawszczyk (dancer, choreographer and fitness trainer), Tadeusz Krawczuk (2001 IDO World Champion, multiple Polish Champion and finalist of the Polish Modern Dance Championships).
