At the ceramic and sculpture studio of the International Ceramics Centre, a children’s workshop titled “Valentine’s Gifts” was held. Under the guidance of instructors Edyta Orlińska, Dorota Dziedzic-Lechowska and Katarzyna Klepaczek , the workshop participants prepared unique and original gifts.
The children learned to sculpt with salt dough. They made many hearts from this material and decorated them with red paints, inscriptions and other additions. They also made cards with declarations of love and window decorations from paper hearts and red feathers.
The regular, free art workshops at BOK-MCC are very popular. Themed classes are organised in connection with various holidays and celebrations. There have been pumpkin activities, Christmas decoration-making workshops and Easter workshops. Each time, the children are supervised by professional teachers who can combine play with learning new skills and developing the children’s aesthetic sensitivity.
