A tractor worth over PLN 500,000 was stolen from Germany in October last year. On February 10, officers from Bolesławiec recovered the equipment. Police came across the trail of the stolen vehicle, among other things, through an advertisement on one of the auction websites. It turned out that the tractor was in the possession of a 34-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County and that the vehicle was parked in one of Bolesławiec’s car parks.
The 34-year-old was arrested. Handling stolen goods is punishable by up to five years in prison.
