The New Year’s Amateur Teams Volleyball Tournament, organised by the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec with its registered office in Kruszyn, is now behind us. Twelve teams took part in the competition, which was held in Kraśnik Dolny and Kruszyn. In the match for third place, Jawa defeated Nindża 2–0 (25:15, 25:16). The final saw Nauczyciele Bolesławiec face Bożejowice. Nauczyciele won 2–0 (25:13, 25:12).
The winning team consisted of: Paweł Bartkowiak, Roman Klimek, Krzysztof Orlewski, Ryszard Świerzewski, Krzysztof Mosiądz, Zygmunt Zazula, Tomasz Medyński, Wojciech Sutryk and Michał Sobczyszyn. The prizes for the best volleyball players were presented by Roman Jaworski, deputy head of Gmina Bolesławiec, Roman Jaworski and Janusz Cieśla, head of GOKiS.
