Originally from Bolesławiec, Joanna Berdzik was appointed undersecretary of state at the Ministry of National Education on 17 January this year. Prime Minister Donald Tusk appointed her to the position. Until then, our fellow townswoman had served as director of the Education Development Centre and president of the Polish Association of Educational Management Staff.
