In February, Piotr Nagiel will perform in Bolesławiec. In addition to concerts with the “STO%” band, he presents prevention programs on addiction and violence in schools throughout the country. His lyrics address alcoholism, but also the fact that addiction can be overcome. The musician is living proof of this and does not hide the truth about himself.
In 1993, Piotr Nagiel and the “Kama-X” band released the album “Na drzewie” and, in the same year, won the Radio Dla Ciebie Hit List with the song “Płacz”. From 1994, the band was associated with Warsaw’s “Stodoła” club. It performed with bands such as “Kult”, “Collage”, “Vader”, “Oddział Zamknięty”, “Wilki”, “Syndia”, “Sapo” and “Closterkeller”.
From 1999, Piotr Nagiel collaborated with Krzysztofem Jaryczewskim (Oddział Zamknięty), forming the duo “Tu i Teraz”. The result of this collaboration was a prevention program for young people entitled “Dopóki Masz Wybór”, presented in schools throughout the country. A year later, an album with the same title was released, featuring guest appearances by: Beata Kozidrak, Halinka Młynkova, Mieczysław Szcześniak, Artur Gadowski, Andrzej Krzywy and Zbigniew Hołdys
The musician was invited to Bolesławiec by the “Przemiana” Association; the idea came from Jerzy Pietrzak (the founder of the DKF in Bolesławiec in the 1980s). The “Przemiana” initiative is supported by the city mayor, BOK-MCC and private sponsors.
Piotr Nagiel’s concert will take place at Forum cinema on Thursday, 2 February at 19:00.
Tickets for the concert, priced at PLN 20, are already available at PITiK at Forum, at the “Perfekt” Travel Agency on Sierpnia '80 Street, and at the headquarters of the “Przemiana” Association at 38 Komuny Paryskiej Street.
The “Istotne informacje” portal and newspaper are the event’s media patron.
